Sometimes I think Raplh Marston, Author of The Daily Motivator is talking right to me.
This morning’s one gave me the chills, because last night I finished my 2010 Goals. One of the things I was very specific about was that I made a commitment to not start another project until the one I was working on was finished.
I am a brainstormer of ideas, to the point where I’ve gotten the nickname of, Hamster Girl. So I have MULTIPLE projects going all the time, some I’ve been working on for years. So this year I’ve made the commitment to complete 8 of them. Now I already know I’ll come up with new ones. Heck just this weekend I thought of another business. So if I want to sneak it in, I’ll rearrange my schedule, but I will not start it until the one I’m working on is finished.
I drive my husband crazy sometimes, but it’s my Hamster thinking that came up with some iPhone apps, which we now have on itunes.
With the New Year less than 10 days away, I’d encourage you to read it. Here’s the link to his web site and go to Wednesday, December 23, 2009 “Stick With It.” The Daily Motivator.
Thank you Ralph for reinforcing that I need to “Stick With It.” And as Larry The Cable Guy says, “Git-R-Done.”
