GMJ Interiors offers Design Consultations to all their clients, whether it is a residential, model home or commerical project. Design Consultations are conducted on a hourly basis where decorating ideas and guidance are provided. Our clients have the freedom to complete the ideas themselves or hire a designer to work with them to complete their design.
For our residential clients that like to do the work themselves or just need some guidance and direction, a Design Consultation is a great place to start with any decorating project.
A Design Consultation is a way to save our clients’ time, money and those costly mistakes by getting advice before starting a project.

- General Decorating Ideas
- Creation of a Decorating Plan
- Window and Wall Treatment Suggestions
- Paint Selection & Coordination
- General Furniture Layout & Space Planning
- Blueprint Review
- Selection of Interior Finishes: Flooring, Cabinets, Counters, Fixtures, Lighting & Paint
- Color Coordination of any Fabrics, Flooring, Wallcovering or Finishes
- Review of Artwork and Accessory Placement
- Review or Creation of Theme, Mood & Style
A Design Consultation normally lasts 2 – 4 hours, during which our clients receive an impressive array of decorating ideas, tips and advice.
Our hourly rate for a Design Consultation is $100.00 per hour, with a two hour minimum.
