I thought a good way to introduce myself is to share my thoughts on design and business.
Most people are nervous talking with a designer, let alone hiring one. Not all designers are like the stereotype of extravagant, temperamental and costly. I treat my clients the way I expected to be treated and will never say “That’s got to go!”
When I design, my first thought and concern is that this is your home or office. You have to spend the time there when we are done and it needs to meet your expectations as far as; likes, needs, wants, comfort and budget.
Interior Design is a very personal business. You will develop a close relationship with your designer in the time you spend together so make sure you like them and look forward to their visits. If you are thinking of working with a designer, hire them for one hour to see how you get along before making a commitment.
Thank You again for visiting and enjoy your stay.

Before entering the design industry, Gail was an 11 year Corporate Banker for Citibank. Some of her responsibilities were: the Mortgage and Loan Processing Department, Credit Officer, Development and Training of new products, as well as starting Citibank’s Business and Professional Department. Gail made this dramatic career change when she realized she was envious of those who did something for a living they enjoyed. So she took time off, went through a career assessment program and enrolled in an interior design school. Although banking was not her passion, it couldn’t have been better training to run and operate her own business as well as mentor others in theirs. Her unique background allows her to look at both the creative and business side of every project.
Gail, an accomplished speaker, seminar leader and interior decorating and redesign instructor, is also the Design Smart Columnist for The Las Vegas Review Journal. She is the author of A Decorating 10!, four decorating booklets and co-authored IRIS in the House. Gail has been published in and been a contributing writer for Las Vegas Home & Hearth Magazine, Distinctive Homes, Broker Agent Magazine, Las Vegas Home Needs, Henderson Home News, Las Vegas Home & Garden, Sherwin Williams Colorscope and MSN Money. Gail also Co-Hosted ABC’s Decorators Notebook..

As well as, an Adjunct Interior Design Instructor for the College of Southern Nevada, Professional Member and Certified Instructor for the Interior Redesign Industry Specialists, Certified Color Instructor for We Make Color Easy and Founder of The Association of Interior Specialists and The Interior Design Institute Society.
Gail teaches a variety of decorating and business classes that allow business owners to start and grow their decorating business. Some of the classes she teaches are: Professional Career Classes in, Interior Redesign, Interior Merchandising, Model Home Decorating, Wholesale Buying, Design Consultations, Color Consultations and Real Estate Staging. Gail also teaches a variety of classes for professionals and homeowners. Gail is passionate about teaching and shares her experience and knowledge gained over the years in every class that she teaches. She has students across the country and mentors them to become successful in their business.
Along with her Interior Design and Training business, Gail has developed the most innovative interior decorating tool on the market for tile designs, The Visual Tile Designer™. This unique tool allows you to see full-size backsplash tile designs right in your home, without a computer or hand drawings.
Gail believes that the services of a Professional Interior Designer should be accessible to all. That those looking to acquire education should receive more than expected and especially prides herself in being honest, hard-working and approachable by all.
Gail’s philosophy is best expressed by Edgar Guest’s poem, “Myself”
I have to live with myself and so
I want to be fit for myself to know.
I want to be able as days go by
Always to look myself in the eye.
I don’t want to stand with the setting sun
And hate myself for the things I’ve done.
I don’t want to keep on a closet shelf
A lot of secrets about myself
And fool myself as I come and go
Into thinking that nobody else will know
The kind of person I really am.
I don’t want to dress up myself in sham.
I want to go out with my head erect.
I want to deserve all others’ respect.
But here in the struggle for fame and wealth
I want to be able to like myself.
I could never hide myself from me.
I see what others may never see.
I know what others may never know.
I never can fool myself, and so
Whatever happens, I want to be
Self-respecting and conscience-free.
